2 New Reasons to Work with SEMbio
SEMbio has added two new recruiters to our team – and they may be familiar faces to some of you!
With the addition of Linda and Rochelle, SEMbio now has over nine additional years of MSL recruiting experience, two new beneficial backgrounds in pharmacy and biology, and a solid grasp of the MSL landscape.

Linda Spratt | Recruiter
Linda graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. She’s originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, but moved to Texas right after college and has made her home in the Dallas area ever since.
Linda has a background in pharmacy but left that to pursue a career in Medical Affairs recruiting, and most recently worked in travel healthcare recruiting. In July 2020 she made the decision to return to first recruiting love, Medical Affairs. Linda has a passion for helping MSLs find the right job fit and seeing them excited about a new opportunity and enjoys being able to build unique relationships with them through the process. Her background in pharmacy and science makes her naturally curious about new advancements in medication and healthcare, so her favorite part of the job is the conversations she is able to have with MSLs, and how she always comes away learning something new.
In her free time, you can usually find Linda and her fiancé Casey enjoying a little “friendly competition” with whatever athletic outlet they can find (bike riding, frisbee in the park, one-on-one basketball, etc). Other hobbies Linda enjoys include photographing friends and family, baking for anyone who will help her eat the finished product, reading, or planning her next big travel adventure.
Rochelle Aguilera | Principal Recruiter, Medical Affairs
Rochelle graduated from the University of Tennessee with Bachelor’s in Biology and was a Varsity Crew Member for the University of TN Rowing team. She is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but moved to Austin for a new job in 2003, met her husband there, and then they made their home in the Dallas area in 2006.
Rochelle has 15 plus years of recruiting experience with the majority of those in the life sciences, specifically, field-based Medical Affairs. In the fall of 2020, she made the decision to join SEMbio and has never looked back. Rochelle is very passionate about Medical Affairs and working with MSLs. Many of them have become good friends and she truly enjoys being able to learn about what makes a person tick. She enjoys building long term relationships and being able to find that right fit for each MSL she has the opportunity to get to know. Having a degree in Biology and a love for science, she is very interested in learning more about the ever-changing responsibilities for Medical Science Liaisons in today’s pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets. She is always pushing the boundaries on how she can become better at her career and she truly values each and every relationship she has made along the way.
In her free time, you can find Rochelle traveling to hit a trail race or spending time with her family. She is married with two boys and a beloved family pet. Other hobbies Rochelle truly enjoys include anything outside such as camping, paddle boarding, and hiking. As well as watching football or curling up with a good book. However, her favorite thing in the world is to watch her two boys compete in Cross Country and Track. She says she is absolutely their biggest fan and cheerleader.
