Celebrating New Additions to SEMbio

SEMbio has once again added two new faces to the team – and this time they’re both pharmacists! Get to know them a little bit by reading their bios – you may be hearing from them soon!

Tracy Johnson

Tracy graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Pharmacy. She comes from a long line of pharmacists, and the world of medicine and patient advocacy has been a part of family discussions for as long as she can remember. Tracy has served in a variety of roles in her pharmacy career, and finally made her way to join the SEMbio team at the end of 2021. She has a passion for excellence, and she very much understands that the right fit in the right role can unquestionably set a candidate on the pathway to success. She firmly believes that success involves more than just numbers, and it requires matching personalities, positions, and all those subtle characteristics that make each one of us unique.

Tracy loves to travel. She is an avid storyteller, and truly enjoys making personal connections with people next door and in faraway places. She loves boating in the summer and watching people ski from a warm lodge in the winter. She is an experienced martial artist and aspires to one-day own land and a few mini donkeys. In the meantime, she will continue to strive for excellence in helping both clients and candidates reach their full potential.

Billy Steele

Billy was raised by his parents which included his father, who was a U.S. Marine of 31 years. This led to him spending most of his youth in North Carolina, Texas, and Louisiana. He graduated from Lejeune High School in North Carolina and then went on to the University of Texas, where he entered the College of Pharmacy. He has been a licensed pharmacist since 1977.

Billy has always been in a position to help people, whether this meant working in a store or working as a regional director. This is something that has run in his family, as his son is now a spinal neurosurgeon in Houston. Working with people has always been something that inspires Billy and helping people is the most important thing to him. His main activity when not working is running – he runs about 30 miles per week. You can usually catch him running the trails around Town Lake in Austin.

We also have some exciting news for our veterans, too.

Rochelle Aguilera and Linda Spratt became our latest recruiters to become CPCs (Certified Personnel Consultants) last month. The CPC certification is one of the most comprehensive certifications in the recruiting industry, giving recruiters a solid foundation of hiring knowledge and ethical practices. This continues SEMbio’s standard of having all recruiters be CPCs.
